Competition Format

• The competition will be run, where possible, in a blitz format. Number of teams per group should not exceed five.

• Three points shall be awarded for a win, one point for a draw and no points for a loss.

• In the event of bad weather, the competitions may be played on a knock out basis.

• Competitions will be arranged on a group basis as decided by the local coordinator.

• Winners to qualify to Regional / Provincial Finals.

• In the event of two teams being tied on points, the following criteria shall be applied:
• Results of the game between the sides
• Goal Difference
• Goals Scored

• If still tied, teams shall play a play-off game with a maximum duration of 5 minutes. If at the end of this play-off game, teams are still tied, a penalty shoot-out will take place with three kicks per team to apply. If still tied, sudden death penalties to apply.

• In the event of more than two teams are tied, the following criteria shall be applied:
• Goal Difference
• Goals Scored

• If still tied, a round robin penalty shoot-out competition shall take place with the teams. Three kicks each, with sudden death penalties to be used if still tied. At the end, the top two teams will take part in a further penalty shootout to decide the winner.
